Get Assistance

Any Firefighter or EMS worker can apply for assistance with HCFFRF whether affected by injury, illness or hardship, or that of their immediate family member as long as the individual is a firefighter or EMS worker within one of eight fire departments in Horry County. These departments would include Myrtle Beach Fire, Myrtle Beach International Airport Fire, Surfside Beach Fire, Conway Fire, Murrells Inlet Fire, Horry County Fire Rescue, North Myrtle Beach Fire and Loris Fire.

Assistance is not guaranteed. HCFFRF cannot hand out any money to any individual. Per our Bylaws, each first responder within the 8 departments listed here is eligible for up to $500 in relief in a one year period with approval of the Assistance Committee.
